Development of the critical thinking of agricultural business managers in the context of the axiological logics

Sigitas Daukilas

Methodological paradigm of students’ critical thinking, based on logic of values, is investigated
in this article. It is based on the research conducted with the lecturers of study programmes
of agricultural professions. Main factors of choosing the structure and content of the
pedagogical technologies were identified during the research. The research also showed that personal
internal power development and e-learning pedagogical technologies are mostly acceptable
in the education of the students’ critical thinking in the context of axiological logic. This is a
mixed model of the realization of the content of vocational training, in which epistemic
knowledge for students is given with the help of computerized tools. A lecturer forms methodology
of the cognition of the professional object. Traditional ways of communication with students
helps to do that. In such case activity of students’ learning is oriented towards formation of
normative consciousness of agricultural professions. The normative consciousness asserts
through abstract competence.
