Small and medium sized business financing possibilities and peculiarities in rural

Abstract

Small and medium sized business in Lithuania is considered as one of the most promising
sector of the country’s economy. That is why it is important to stimulate the establishment of new
enterprises of this sector and intensity of their activities. This topic is always analyzed in scientific
literature with the purpose to understand the reasons which trouble the development of SME in rural
and to find out possible ways to eliminate the SME growth barriers. But there is too little
information about SMEs financing peculiarities, that is why it is important to over view complex of
available for small and medium sized companies business financing instruments, find out measures
and financial sources that could be used by the beginners or business developing SMEs.
