Entrepreneurship formation in Lithuanian small and medium – sized business

Abstract

Since last decades of XX century smals and medium – sized business becomes more important
on economic development. Challenges of business surrounding, which could be described
as constantly changing, chaotic, unpredictable, foster organizations to look for effective response.
Management theoretics agree that one is possible solutions – formation of entreprising
behavior in firms. Entrepreneurial organizations are described as inovative, proactively oriented,
capable to manage change, constantly searching for possibilities in surrounding. To foster enterprising
behaviour in Lithuanian SMEs is important task in order to be more competitive.
