Clustering – a possibility to increase competitiveness of lithuanian industry of food and beverages?

Abstract

The article analyses the potential of the Lithuanian food and beverages industry to surmount
the competitive pressure of EU markets under circumstances of a constantly changing environment
and evaluates a possible development of competitive advantages of this sector, as well as an opportunity
to increase its competitiveness by means of clustering. The article also emphasizes the importance
of the state role in the development of the competitive food and beverages industry in Lithuania.
