Legal labour relations in agriculture

The main subjects of the labour legal relations are employers, employees and groups of employees. Working relationship between mentioned subjects are regulated by laws, subordinate legislation and collective agreements. Regulation of labour relations today is a pressing problem not only in academic but also in practical point of view. Labour relations in Lithuania are being analysed by many scientists, however it is felt a lack of academic researches of labour relations in agriculture. Purpose of academic article – after analysing labour regulation in Lithuania, establish features of concluding labour agreements, working and resting time regulation in agriculture. Methods – content and comparative analysis of legislation, Lithuanian case law and academic articles.
