Insights of degenerate organizational cultures and nepotism in the organizations
Of Lithuanian and foreign scientists articles analysis, determined unhealthy, degenerate organizational culture is measured in two ways: Some authors argue that unhealthy culture can make to sick organization's "healthy" members,and to destroy of its operations, image and reputation. Others observe that at low sickness of organizational culture can be seen the benefits, as it helps to reveal the weaknesses that need more attention. Paranoid, schizophrenia, and depression are the main referred organization's diseases. Analysis of nepotism's damage in the organization, is found that nepotism seen as harmful entire phenomenon to whole organization, affecting workers and their trust in the organization, work performance. Also, organization lose public confidence, the reputation of organization is deteriorated down. Nepotism is often equated with discrimination, but here is discriminated according to criteria such as the family, the tribe, or other interest-based group, for this reason, organization has a wide spiritual loss. When the relationship is defined between nepotism and degenerate cultures, it can be assumed that nepotism is one of the main reasons for the organization of cultural degeneration. Nepotism can be described as "evil's seed" from which grown up like phenomena such as distrust, suspicion, dissatisfaction with work, indifference and fear, which are identified as the main function of the unhealthy organization's features. The object: interface between degenerate culture of the organization and nepotism. The aim: analysis of consequences of degenerate cultural characteristics and nepotism, to determine what impact has to changes of organizational culture. Research tasks to reach the aim of research: (1) to analyze the characteristics of degenerate cultures; (2) to look over the effects of nepotism in organizations; (3) to determine the interfaces between nepotism and degenerate cultures. Research methods. In order to objectively evaluate the object – the relationship of the organization's culture and nepotism, was applied methods: the theoretical analysis,generalization of scientific information and interpretation, analysis and synthesis, logical comparison and systematic generalization.
